Sleep mode

Vista Beta 2, build 5384 When I put it to Sleep it comes back on in about 8 seconds.
Any ideas??

Resume time from sleep for me is lousy also. Its still a work in progress and its just one of issues being worked on right now, performance is primary ongoing issue. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

Try turning your mouse upside down - and see if it works. Where I live (for work) in London, I'm living on the ground floor of a flat near Sloane Square - because the tube station is near the surface, every time a train goes by, it nudges my mouse slightly and wakes up my machine!!

I misinterpreted the question. I am not seeing what you are seeing actually. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

My HP Pavilion a1450n will not come out of sleep mode. I have to turn the computer off and back on. Is this normal? Then it takes forever to boot back up. Anyune familiar with this? Thanks.

Having the same issue here, running Vista on a P4 3.0 ghz machine with 1g RAM and a Radeon 9600 128 mhz video card.

Tips for how to file a problem report
Here are some things to consider when filing a problem report:
Please file your report as soon as possible after you find a problem. The sooner we hear from you, the sooner we can investigate and try to fix the problem.
Please provide a brief, descriptive title. The title is the first thing we see when we get the report, so a succinct, clear title will help us effectively identify and prioritize the problem.
Please provide enough detail in the description for us to understand the problem. The more detail you can provide, the better.
Please provide the steps we can follow to reproduce the problem. Any incorrect or missing steps can prevent us from being able to reproduce and address the problem.
